JULY 27 Update

We celebrated “IGNATIUS and the Journey of Spiritual Exercises” on Saturday, July 27, at the Penshoppe Art Gallery. The event started with the film “Ignacio de Loyola: Soldier. Sinner. Saint.” at the Our Lady of Way Conference Hall, followed by a Eucharistic Mass at the Chapel of the Risen Lord, led by Rev. Fr. Rene Javellana and Rev. Fr. Jason Dy.

Special thanks to our guests of honor: Hon. Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon, Mrs. Tess Rayos Del Sol, Prof. Christine Que, Mr. Nemi Miranda, Atty. Sam Torres, and Mr. Danny Rayos Del Sol. We also appreciate the performances by the Angono Chorale Ensemble and Grupong Uste.

5PM – Thanksgiving Mass with Rev. Father Rene Javellana, S.J. at the Chapel of the Risen Lord.
5:45 PM – Blessing and opening of the exhibit at the Penshoppe Art Gallery.
6:30PM – Simple dinner at the LRH-SACA Refectory.

LRH-SACA is turning 60!

Celebrate with us the opening of the exhibit “IGNATIUS and the Journey of the Spiritual Exercises” on July 27, Saturday at the Loyola Retreat House – Spirituality and Art Center Angono. The exhibit draws from the insight of Ignatius that the visual is a powerful tool for mining the depths of the Spiritual Exercises (SPEX) and is the foundation of Jesuit involvement with the arts.
